連詞（Conjunction）：連詞不能獨立擔(dān)任句子成分而只起連接詞與詞，短語與短語以及句與句的作用。
連詞的用法
連詞分為：并列連詞和從屬連詞。
并列連詞用于簡單句
1、表示并列關(guān)系的連詞，如：
Simon used to live in ParisandLondon.
BothJaneandJim are interested in pop music.
She isnot onlykindbut alsohonest.
Bobas well ashis parents is going on holiday soon.
Would you like to leaveorwould you like to stay?
You can comeeitheron Saturdayoron Sunday.
NeitheryounorI believe such things.
從屬連詞用于從句
2、表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系的連詞，如：
The winter in Beijing is very coldbut\whilethat of Kunming is warm.
I explained twice,stillhe counldn't understand.
Although the forecast said it would rain,butit turned out to be a beautiful day;
He's still as cheerful as everin spite ofall his disappointment.
3、表示原因關(guān)系的連詞，如：
The leaves of the trees are falling,forit's already autumn.
I turned the air conditioner onbecauseit was cold.
4、表示條件關(guān)系的連詞，如：
Ruby might buy a carifshe passes her test.
You won't speak english wellunlessyou practise.
5、表示目的關(guān)系的連詞，如：
We have to borrow moneyin order tobuy a new apartment.
Let me remind you once againso thatyou won't forget.
