他贊嘆，醫(yī)生們的妙手回春，仁心仁術(shù)。
唯獨，護士，在他心中，是一個模糊的白色背影，常常讓他忘記了她們的存在。
那么，在醫(yī)院，在病患心中，護士，到底是一個什么樣的存在？
國外網(wǎng)站看到一句話：If doctors are brain of hospital then nurses are the heart。 大概意思是醫(yī)生是醫(yī)院的大腦，護士是醫(yī)院的心臟。

重癥醫(yī)學科里，一位心跳呼吸驟停的患者己成功脫機，氣管插管拔除了，呼吸機撤除了。
這位患者是呼吸內(nèi)科的一名陪護，在病房里突然倒地，護士發(fā)現(xiàn)后立即胸外按壓并送入重癥醫(yī)學科。
插管，上呼吸機，然后就是護士日日夜夜的陪伴。
吸痰，氣道濕化，翻身，調(diào)整呼吸機參數(shù)……

He knew them as ‘nurses’, without a name
他只知道他們是護士，沒有名字
In white uniform they all looked the same
穿白色制服的他們看起來都是一個樣子

深夜，他從疼痛中醒來，胸口像一把小刀在那扎啊扎，疼痛使他喘不過氣來，額頭上冒出了黃豆大的汗珠。兒女們都不在身邊，老伴早己過世，能陪伴他的，只有他自已。
掙扎中他拔打了120,一位年輕姑娘教他靠床半坐著，嚼服家中備的阿斯匹林和玻立維，安撫他救護車馬上就到。
朦朧中，有人破門而入，有人給他吸氧，有人給他推藥，劇烈的疼痛漸漸遠去，他被抬上了救護車。
嗎啡的作用下，他睡著了，再醒來時兒子己陪護在身邊，這時他才知道，就在他睡著時，心臟己放入了二個支架，突發(fā)心肌梗死的他得救了。
