I'd like to share something from the club.
It was the first meeting in the new year. Also the 85th meeting. The theme is preparation.
Lauryn shared a story and it's meaningful.
The was a boy who wanted to learn swimming at 13 and he didn't. At the age of 18 there is beautiful girl invited him to swim but he haven't learned how to swim. At the age of 18, he wanted to learn English and he didn't. At the age of 28, there was an opportunity for his career...
So, always be prepared. Because you don't know what would happen in next 5 years or 10 years. What if he learned how to swim at the age of 13. What if he leaned English when he was 18.
When I decided to take English as my major. I didn't know what I can do with this. But I believe that there must be something I can do with. So I tried my best and I did it. I didn't take a job related with English for the first time when I left school, but I didn't quite learning. I listened to VOA and BBC, as a habit. Years late, when I decided to take a job which needed English as skill, I made it. If it wasn't the preparedness, I would have lost that chance.
Always be prepared, my friends.
