Audience
- **Understand the Audience’s Power **
Look at the audience as the “hero” of your idea
? Give the hero a special gift
? Teach the hero to use a “magical” tool
? Help the hero get “unstuck” - Segment the Audience
-
Present Clearly and Concisely(簡明地) to Senior Executives(行政)
? Get to the point
? Give them what they asked for
? Set expectations
? Create executive summary slides
? Rehearse - Get to Know Your Audience
-
Define How You’ll Change the Audience
When you present, you’re asking the people in the room to change their behavior or beliefs in some way, big or small. -
Find Common Ground
? Shared experiences: What from your past do you have in common. Do you share memories, historical events, interests?
? Common goals: Where are you all headed in the future? What types of outcomes are mutually desired?
? Qualifications: Why are you uniquely qualified to be the audience’s guiding expert?
