#詞匯辨析# E.G. & I.E.

* e.g. =for example, such as(say e.g. before examples)

* i.e.=in other words (say i.e. before you clarify something that you've just said)

注：

（1）以上兩種縮寫僅用于學術寫作、腳注、列表或插入語中。其它情況下請使用：

for example, such as, including替代e.g.

in other words, that is, namely替代i.e.

（只用于寫作而不用于口語）

（2）請在縮寫后加逗號

（3）e.g.和etc.不能同時出現
