推薦一個TED視頻：《如果我有一個女兒》
非常喜歡演講一開始時的那首詩，所以把內(nèi)容整理出來了，但感覺字幕自帶的翻譯有多處不妥，所以自己進(jìn)行了一些修改。但由于水平有限，肯定仍然有不少錯漏，歡迎指正。

instead of "Mom",she's gonna call me "Point B"
她會稱我為“ Point B "，而不是“媽媽”
because that way she knows that no matter what happens
因為她知道無論發(fā)生什么事
at least she can always find her way to me.
最后她總能找到辦法回到我身邊
And I'm going to paint solar system on the backs of her hands
我會把太陽系畫在她的手背上
so she has to learn the entire universe
這樣她會了解整個宇宙
before she can say "Oh,I know that like the back of my hand."
在她能夠說 “哦，我了解這事兒就像了解我的手背那樣” 之前
And she's going to learn

that this life will hit you hard in the face

that they really ought to meet your mother
他們真該來會會你的母親
“Point B"
字幕中譯為“B點”，但這樣在中文語境中就顯得很奇怪，不如不譯。事實上“Point B"是小孩子做數(shù)學(xué)題時假設(shè)由A點到達(dá)B點的情況，通常情況下B點是作為目的地而存在，所以此處是指無論孩子走向哪里，最終母親都可以是她的歸宿。“she doesn't have to wear the cape all by herself”
我認(rèn)為此句是母親在向小女孩解釋即使如Wonder Woman，也是不可能一個人把所有難題都解決的。所謂“wear the cape”，包括后面說到被踩住斗篷，都是在指Wonder Woman和超人一樣變身時披上斗篷的動作。
