有些童鞋遇到 although 和 though總是會犯難，今天小編就來跟大家一起探究下它們之間的不同之處！

1、兩詞同義并可換用，但although語氣較重，通常放在句首并用于正式場合。

如：I'd quite like to go out, (al)though it is a bit late. 我很想外出，雖然為時稍晚。

Although it was snowing, it was not very cold. 雖然下著雪，但并不很冷。

2、用though 時，可將強調(diào)的詞前置，但although 不能。as也有此種倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。

如：Poor though / as he is , he is happy.雖然他窮，但過得很愉快。

Child though / as she was, the actress was drawing a crowd. 盡管還是個孩子，這個女演員卻引起了人們的注目。（child前無冠詞a）

3、 although 引導(dǎo)從句常指事實，而though 引導(dǎo)的句子可表假設(shè)。

如：Let's start as arranged though it rains tomorrow. 即使明天下雨，咱們也按預(yù)定的計劃出發(fā)吧。（假設(shè)）

He was not unhappy although he had to live alone. 雖然得一個人生活，他毫無不快之感。（事實）

4、although 只用作連詞，而though 除作連詞外，還可用作副詞，常置句末，句子較長時，也置于句中。

如：It's hard work, I enjoy it though. 這是苦差事，可我干得頗有樂趣。

There's no excuse, though , for hurting her feelings. 傷到她的感情一事，還是不可原諒。

5、though 可用于even though, as though 等結(jié)構(gòu)，although則不能。

如：Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying. 我縱然失敗，仍會繼續(xù)嘗試下去。

You look as though (=as if ) you know each other. 看起來你們好像彼此認(rèn)識。

6、although 和 though 用作連詞時不能和but連用，但可跟yet, still 等連用。

如：Although he lives alone, yet he is happy. = He lives alone, but he is happy. 他雖然單獨生活，但很愉快。

7、though 常用于省略句。

如：Though (he is) alone, he is happy.
