the 1st run python script under selenium2 environment

Issue-1: selenium.common.exceptions.WebDriverException: Message: 'geckodriver' executable needs to be in PATH.

solution: 1). download geckodriver from here: Link.

2). put it under python installation path, and then update system PATH to make sure it's path is included.

solved!
