名詞泛濫
Plain English is a language based on verbs . 平實的語言在于動詞的使用。英語多用動詞，而中文多用名詞，而且是大量抽象、空泛的名詞。這也是為什么在中譯英中常常會堆砌很多大而空的名詞。chinglish中就包含了很多累贅的名詞。
如，多余的名詞，to accelerate the pace of ; 空洞的名詞，followring the realization of mechanization ; 范疇名詞， opposeing the practice of extravagance . 還有以下這種拖家帶口帶出來不必要的名詞，與我而言，最不容易發現的就是unnec.V.+ unnec.N.+third word 的形式。例如， to reach the goal of modernization = to modernize ； to make an imprvement= to improve . 我們熟悉的improvement ,modernization 都常常會出現這種情況。?
