My idea on?Parenting style

As we all know, some parents are strictwith their children and have a pushy parenting style. While my parents are notone of them, they have a relaxed parenting style. I feel fortunate to have suchkind parents who allow me to have a wonderful childhood. They encourage me todo anything I like.

When I was kid, I was fond of playing hide and seek, as well as playing hopscotch .I’d like to invite some friends toplay those my favorite activities. Few can dispute that kids always shouted andcheered loudly, especially when they gathered together. However, mygrandparents and parents did bother that kind of noisy thing. They did not robme of my freedom. Not like other child who were stuck in their extra curriculum,I spent most my childhood in playing different games which impressed me with agood memory.

From my vivid account, it can be seenthat I did not feel stressed when I was younger. Two reasons are illustrated asfollows. On the one hand, my parents did on push me too hard in school work. Theybelieved that kids were supposed to play as much as possible. They taught methat a kid is not measured by grades, but by their nature. On the other hand,my parents never compared me with other kids. They held the idea that it was nouse competing with the rest of the neighborhood.

I am indebted to my parents for notrestrict me and providing me with a happy childhood. If I were a parent, Iwould adapt a relaxed parenting style just like my parents. I would not like tomake a pointing of studying, which may annoy my kids.

From my perspective, it is important torecognize that the essence of happiness for children is that they are mainmasters of their life. Parents should not interfere the matters and push themin great pressure. I am willing to be playing the role of the company andfriend of my children rather than someone who steal their happiness. I disapprovethat we should put grades as the first place. What we should do is not to takeit as face value, but to have an unbiased idea between studying and playing. Therefore,if I were a parent, a relaxed parenting style would be my first choice.

As an old going says, all work and noplay makes Jack a dull boy. I benefited a lot from relaxed parenting style,which inspires me to use the same style when I have my baby.
