PART 2: Thoughts
The best way to get past any barrier is to come at it from a different direction, which is one reason it is useful to work with a teacher or coach.
One caveat here is that while it is always possible to keep going and keep improving, it is not always easy.
? ? get outside your comfort zone:安于現(xiàn)狀是我現(xiàn)在很多同事的狀態(tài),有時(shí)看看他們貌似不學(xué)習(xí)也沒關(guān)系,為什么這么辛苦的花時(shí)間看書學(xué)習(xí),因?yàn)橄胍M(jìn)步,想要變成更厲害的自己,所以我每天堅(jiān)持背單詞練口語,強(qiáng)迫自己學(xué)習(xí),突然某一次培訓(xùn)中自己的表現(xiàn)得到了組長的贊賞,更堅(jiān)定了自己的堅(jiān)持。
? ? purposeful practice、not “try harder” but rather “try differently” :身邊沒有導(dǎo)師牛人指導(dǎo)自己的英語學(xué)習(xí),感覺自己雖然每天try harder但沒有質(zhì)的進(jìn)步,通過這種高效閱讀群和一些好的書籍中找到更多更適合自己的訓(xùn)練方式,比如原來看書自己從不做筆記,現(xiàn)在開始嘗試去寫,開始不知道怎么寫,就一直看他們優(yōu)秀筆記的寫法并學(xué)習(xí)。
PART 2: Summary
I think Mind map is a good tool to summary. But I don't know how to use it exactly. So I was learning and trying to make it out. Even it costs a lot of time. I think I am getting out my comfort zone like the author said.
