英語中的句子有三種類型：簡單句、復合句和復雜句
所有的句子必須包含一個主語，必須有動詞，必須有含義
你需要了解自己想寫什么類型的句子，這樣你才能應用相應的規則。
簡單句:簡單句有一個主語，和一個主要動詞。
You are reading this blog.
Who is hugging that girl?
或者2個主語和一個主要動詞
The girl and the paper man love each other.
或者一個主語和2個主要動詞
She is hugging him and smiling. 動詞是 is hugging和 is smiling
或者2個主語和2個主要動詞
The paper manandthe girlare huggingeach other andsmiling.
看下下面的句子。這是一個簡單句，因為它有一個主語和一個動詞
The beautiful tropical gardensa cross the road from my old school were destroyed in the earthquake last month.
這句話有很多額外的東西，把它們拿掉，看看剩下了什么：
The gardens were destroyed.
不要被長句子中大量的形容詞、副詞和介詞困擾。要了解一個句子的結構，你首先要找到動詞，然后找到主語。
復合句：復合句是由2個或2個以上的簡單句連接而成。
The gardens were destroyedandmany houses were damaged.
The gardens were destroyedbutmy old school was not damaged.
The old school was not damagedsowe are all relieved.
復合句是由2個或2個以上的獨立的分句加上連接詞構成的。
