lark（百靈鳥）
Lark（百靈鳥） said, “I sing to amuse myself, making myself happy every day.” Cuckoo（布谷鳥） said, “My voice is used to interpret（詮釋） the tragedy. You see, each time I sing, I will bleed.”
百靈說：“我唱歌是為了解悶兒，讓自己每天高高興興的。” 杜鵑說：“我的聲音是用來詮釋悲劇的。你瞧，我一唱歌就會流血。”
Magpie（喜鵲） said, “My voice is used to announce good news, so people all like me.” Oriole（黃鸝） said, “It is not the time to hold a solo concert.”
喜鵲說：“我的聲音是報告好消息用的，所以人們都喜歡我。” 黃鸝說：“我開個人演唱會還為時尚早。”
Thrush（畫眉） said, “I sing to those people who love life.”The birds were very excited that they were just about to sing aloud when a discordant（不和諧的） sounded,
畫眉說：“我為熱愛生活的人歌唱。”這些鳥正興高采烈地想要一展歌喉，這時只聽一個不和諧的聲音說
“Lark（百靈）'s singing is not powerful, Oriole（黃鸝）'s is not deep, Magpie（喜鵲）'s is too frivolous（輕佻）...
：“百靈唱歌一點力氣也沒有，黃鸝嗓音不夠低沉，喜鵲的聲音太過輕佻……
In nature, who has heard such a beautiful sound of nature? Listen, this wonderful song — caw...” On hearing, all the other birds flapped away, leaving it alone tasting its “sounds of nature” on the branch.
這世界上，有誰聽過這么美妙的自然之聲？聽吧，我這美妙的歌喉——哇……” 聽到這聲音，其他所有的鳥兒都拍拍翅膀飛走了，就留下它獨自在枝頭對自己的“自然之聲”孤芳自賞。
It shook its head and sighed, “People who know how to appreciate art become less and less!” This bird was a crow.
它搖搖頭，嘆氣道：“懂得欣賞藝術(shù)的人真是越來越少了！” 這只鳥是只烏鴉。
因為無知，所以自大。
