英語修辭手段中，擬人化是我很喜歡的一種。它可以化腐朽為神奇，能夠起點石成金之效：
The last splatter of shampoo farted out of the bottle.
最后那一撇洗發(fā)膏從瓶子里像放屁一樣噴出來。
（fart 用得妙！）
The relief of the air conditioner was practically orgasmic.
空調(diào)的爽勁兒簡直賽過性高潮。
（orgasmic 用得妙！）
When I finish shaving I'm left feeling as if, a long night out, my face has finally taken off its pants.
我刮完胡子后，感覺我的臉像出去玩了一整夜以后，終于脫下褲子了。
（虧他想得出來！）
Ovaries, start your engine!
卵巢，啟動你的引擎！
（這娘們想生孩子想得都迫不及待了！）
The hands on my biological clock are giving me the finger.
我生物鐘上的指針正對我豎中指。
（此hand 非那hand 。）
最后這一句話糙理不糙，細(xì)細(xì)思量還蠻有哲學(xué)的味道呢：
Life is being in bed with you. Everything else can just wait.
生活正在與你上床。其它事情都可以等一等。
