1. There is no use crying over spilt milk.

這句話字面上行說“牛奶灑了，哭也沒用”。實際上，它的英文解釋是：“Don’t’ get upset about a negative past situation.”（別為已經發生的不好的事情難過了。）

也就是說，事情確實讓人難過，但都已經發生了，難過也沒用呀。（向前看吧^-^）

2. spill the beans

這是一個動詞短語。字面意思就是“倒豆子”

英文解釋是：“tell a secret”（爆料，說秘密）

比如你的一個朋友打飛的去追星，見到了你們共同的偶像，偶像和你的朋友聊了聊童年趣事。你非常感興趣，想讓朋友多說一些偶像的秘密，你就可以說：“What else did he tell you? Come on! Spill the beans!”

3. a piece of cake

字面意思：一塊蛋糕

實際意思：做某事很容易

比如你有個朋友很有寫作天賦，那么對她來說，Writing is a piece of cake.

4. the apple of one's eye

這個idiom看字面意思根本就邏輯不通w(?Д?)w~~

事實上，它的意思是：the person who someone loves and is proud of 。如果A is the apple of B's eye，就意味著A是B視若珍寶的人。

比如你的爸爸很愛你，你可以說：I am the apple of my father's eye.

比如阿盈和阿瀾是一對兩情相悅的情侶，阿瀾非常愛阿盈，阿瀾向阿盈表白的時候，可以說：You are the apple of my eye.

5. go bananas

bananas在這個idiom里面是形容詞哦，注意bananas不要少了“s”哈。go bananas表示“很生氣”，也可以表示很“興奮”。這個短語可以形容正面的意思，可以形容負面的意思。

比如一個炒樓的人得知自己手頭的資產樓價下跌，非常生氣，你可以說：When he read the email about the bad news, he went bananas.

又比如你拿到了自己心儀大學的offer，你欣喜若狂，你可以說：When I got the offer, I went bananas.
