寫過“長微博”的小伙伴都知道，由于字數限制，發布的時候這些文字仍以縮略的短微博形式顯示。在歐美盛行的社交工具Twitter里，是否也有類似功能？英文怎么說呢？來學個新詞：
“冰山推文”是什么鬼？
Iceberg tweeting refers to posting a note to Twitter where the visible text isonly a small part of the overall message.
“冰山推文”是指在推特上發布一條推文，可以看到的文字只是整條信息的一小部分。
其實，這個所謂的“冰山推文”與我們日常使用的“長微博”功能非常相似。由于Twitter和微博都對字數有所限制，因此超過規定長度的內容只能顯示出部分文字摘要，閱讀全文需要通過點擊后面附帶的鏈接實現。

這里，我們為“冰山推文”奠定了基礎，這類推文可以超過140字的限制。
除了iceberg tweeting，tip of the iceberg tweeting(冰山一角推文)也可以表達類似的意思。

Twitter condenses messages to bite-sized sentences that communicate beyondtheir word limit and are open to a myriad of interpretation. One of the aims ofthe project is that students visually interpret the deeper meaning of a 'tip ofthe iceberg tweet'.
推特將信息濃縮成短小精悍的句子，以他們規定的字數進行交流，可以對句子有無數種理解。這個項目的目的之一在于，讓學生直觀地理解“冰山一角推文”的深層次含義。
