我和Anita經(jīng)常會有熱烈的討論，她雖不是設(shè)計(jì)師，但攝影師與設(shè)計(jì)師之間的對話完全沒有任何障礙，相反，她常常帶給我意想不到的靈感。在英國，我平均每月都會有新項(xiàng)目在進(jìn)行，我會告訴她自己目前的想法如何，項(xiàng)目進(jìn)行到怎樣的階段，她則從她不同的文化視角提出觀點(diǎn)，并毫不吝嗇由衷的支持與積極的評價(jià)，令我內(nèi)心里非常感激，也感激上蒼賜予我英倫學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會的同時(shí)又給了我一位知己，一段永遠(yuǎn)的友誼。
Anita自己也不間斷地做著不同的課題，她的許多作品得到導(dǎo)師的贊賞，但就在我臨近結(jié)束圣馬丁學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)，她學(xué)期末的最后一個(gè)關(guān)于中國的項(xiàng)目研究遇到挫折，我說你選了這個(gè)來做是因?yàn)檎J(rèn)識了我，可這對你太困難了，因?yàn)槟銖奈吹竭^中國。她目前無法踏上中國的土地，只好竭盡全力去跑中國城，接近中國學(xué)生，中國商人……她項(xiàng)目的標(biāo)題十分拗口，大致的內(nèi)容是：中國城不是真實(shí)的中國，許多中國的東西正在廉價(jià)售出，中國人如此不理智地廉價(jià)售賣自己的文化，而這種文化又其實(shí)并非真正的中國文化，由此影響到許多國外的設(shè)計(jì)師在做著濫用中國文化的愚蠢設(shè)計(jì)，這種設(shè)計(jì)反過來又會誤導(dǎo)更多的外國人定義中國文化……
是不是很有些奇怪？我和我的作品曾作為她的模特被拍，她甚至說，你講講有關(guān)你作品的想法，我錄下你的聲音，作為我作品的一部分。于是我用蹩腳的英文大致寫下了如下一些內(nèi)容：
About the China Town:
Since the first time I visited the China Town in London, there was something I felt either familiar or strange. The red color is everywhere, usually we do not?use a lot of red except?during traditional festivals. Chinese food is delicious, but most food seems being changed a little bit... The Chinese culture is twisted and exaggerated here.
About design:
I saw a lot of?stuffs related to the Chinese culture.?Foreign designers directly combine the Chinese symbols, such as the Chinese characters, they even sometimes wrote the wrong words, or the Chinese images, they use the images in Qing Dynasty of the Chinese?history. Is this because there are too many stupid,?easygoing designers who did something without careful research or there are too many people here who believe this is the?true China, or the Chinese people?are doing wrong things that mislead?here people's impression?……
Anita最終沒有在我離開前完成這個(gè)項(xiàng)目，她心中一定是藏著許多疑問的，我的疑問不會比她更少，她終有一天會來到中國，到時(shí)不知她又有什么樣的想法和作品呈現(xiàn)？……
