1.align

align來自法語,“a”的意是"to" ,? "ligne" 的意思是line,有排成一條直線,使平行的意思。引申為與…保持一致,與…同盟,常與with 連用。
e.g. National policy should align with people's interests.
2.delegation
①a group of people who represent a company, organization etc? n.代表團
e.g.I can see many country's delegations enterning the stadium at the opening ceremonyies of the Olympic Games.
②assigning sth. to someone 授權,委托

3.cream
原句:They're stand behind the cash register and cream all the business during the slow times.
ice cream中cream意思是奶油,化妝品中的cream是護膚霜。這里的cream做動詞,意思是徹底打敗,我認為這里的意思是經理站在收銀機的后面,做了所有的銷售工作。

PART 2 Summary
This chapter serves as an? introduction to five dimensions of win-win ,win-win processes and application suggestions.
Firstly, win-win comes from a character of integrity, maturity and the Abundance Mentality.Secondly, high-trust relationships is the essence of win-win. Thirdly, agreements giving definition and direction to win-win? live on five elements as desired results, guidelines, resources, accountability and consequences.Fourthly, Win-win management training based on win-win agreements deal with methods, not results.Last but not least, win-win performance agreements focus on results;not methods. In win-win, people evaluate themselves, using the criteria that they themselves help to create up front.
In the end of the chapter the author says that win-win is achieved through four-step process and gives us six application suggestions.
Thoughts
老板想讓員工團結協作卻用競爭的體制來激勵員工,這無異于緣木求魚。對于出現的問題我們要多思考多分析,想清楚現在采用的方法是否有助于達成自己的目標。
作者和孩子達成共贏的協定,可是這是否是在和孩子講條件呢,講條件會讓孩子覺得對自己沒有好處的事就不去做,著重于即時利益。如果是一樣的性質,那么這樣的教育方法是否可取呢?還是說兩者是有區別的?
