b) 時間副詞
有一種經(jīng)常在中式英語里出現(xiàn)的多余修飾語是表示動作時間的副詞。在上一章中我們說過，如果句子時態(tài)可以表達時間信息，那么含有時間的名詞短語通常都是多余的，對于副詞來說也是同樣的道理。
例1：now the government is working hard to improve taxation
改1：the government is working hard to improve taxation
例2：previously we used to overemphasize the need for class struggle
改2：we used to overemphasize the need for class struggle
