李笑來在《把時間當做朋友》這本書里就說過寫作能力中最基本的一種就是寫出簡潔、有效、準確、樸素、具體的說明性和說理性的文章。而在我之前的刻板印象中,會寫作其實就等于文筆好,因為上學時候的語文課都是學習這篇文章修辭多好,用詞多好,卻常常忽略了最重要的內容。
談到有關自己的風格,和前章一樣,不是刻意的運用技巧就能練成的,還是要建立在大量的練習之上,才能慢慢找到自己的風格。并且自己的風格就是寫你想說的東西。要在自信的同時放松去寫,用第一人稱寫作會能更投入,如果不愿意用第一人稱寫,但至少要用我思考。我就是羞于什么都說到自己,總覺得這樣會公布在大眾的眼光之中,會產生一種想逃避和遮蔽的感覺。像作者說的,可以先用第一人稱去思考試試。

writers at their most natural when they write in the first person, or at least think I while you write, and then take the I out
Sell your self, and your subject will exert its own appeal. Believe in your own identity and your own opinions. Writing is an act of ego, and you might as well admit it. Use its energy to keep yourself going.
