Blow up:

墨西哥金融危機(Mexico's financial crisis): 1994年12月至1995年3月，墨西哥發生了一場比索匯率狂跌、股票價格暴瀉的金融危機。1994年12月19日深夜，墨西哥政府突然對外宣布，本國貨幣比索貶值15％。這一決定在市場上引起極大恐慌。外國投資者瘋狂拋售比索，搶購美元，比索匯率急劇下跌。

因此判定blow up應該選取第二個意思，“爆發”。

貼現率（Discount Rate）是指將未來支付改變為現值所使用的利率，或指持票人以沒有到期的票據向銀行要求兌現，銀行將利息先行扣除所使用的利率。這種貼現率也指再貼現率，即各成員銀行將已貼現過的票據作擔保，作為向中央銀行借款時所支付的利息。
