一:Words and expressions

1.the sense of humour ||responsibility

幽默感||責任感

2.laugh to tears ||burst into tears

Eg:The sick humour made me burst into tears

3.be bound up with||connect

e.g:Great success is undoubtedly bound up with hard working.

4.pester糾纏

to annoy someone, especially by asking them many times to do something

The little boy kept pestering his mother to tell him when he would be able to play games

assail糾纏

To? attack someone or something violently

I was assailed by a man who wanted to sell me a diamond ring

5.compensate for

To compensate for my terrible busy day,he invited me to see the popular comic film.

二:review

A new type of humour,which stems largely from the U.S.,has recently come into fashion.

The following example is just this sort of 'sick humour'

A man who had broken his right leg managed to pester his doctor to allow him to go home on New Years celebration,unfortunately he broke his left leg at the end of the party on New Year's Eve.
