Ask Questions, Ask More

When you are hesitant if an item is worth buying, or if a task is worth doing, or if a job is worth taking, ask questions.

Ask yourself: Is this something that I'm really going to enjoy? Why is this good for me? What is it that I want to get out of this?

Ask the other side (if applicable): What's the purpose of the task? Why do you think it's important to do this? ?What are your requirements and conditions? What are your concerns of doing this now?

In summary, when in doubt, ask questions. That's much simpler than making assumptions and later discover they're wrong.
