booster rocket 就是運載火箭, boost 是動詞形式，還有2個常用的意思
boost：verb.
1. to increase or improve something and make it more successful:
Example: The new resort area has boosted tourism.
boost sb's confidence/morale/ego
Example: The win boosted the team's confidence.
?2. (also boost up) to help someone reach a higher place by lifting or pushing them:
Example: She boosted me up so I could get into the window. They boosted up the child for a better view.

要把英語學到高級水平，聽說讀寫缺一不可。閱讀非常重要，而想要提高閱讀，就要有足夠的詞匯量。我的經驗是有機會就大聲朗讀，然后找出幾個生詞加強記憶。不需要把每個不認識的生詞都記下來，尤其是初級水平，這樣不僅進度慢，也會把學英語變成一個很痛苦的過程。
記憶生詞要記發音，如果能用英文解釋這個詞，那就最好了。記中文意思的缺點是，有些詞中文翻譯意思一樣，但是英文的含義略有不同，到使用的時候就不能準確的表達意思。比如，yummy 和 delicious 兩個詞，都是好吃的意思。而前者更隨便，偏向兒童語言，后者程度強烈些，也更正式。如果你的老板請你去吃飯，你和他說，the food is yummy, 你老板聽了估計會渾身不適，這好好的馬屁就不小心拍錯位置了 :-)
