注：在英國的公共場所，如公園，廣場，河邊人行道等，會常見到供人休息的長椅。其中很多是當地普通人家捐獻的。當你注意時，往往會看到長椅木板上刻著幾個字，是捐獻者對過世的親人的懷念，一般記有死者名字，與捐獻者的關系，以及出生與逝世的日子等。常見的英文如In memory of mother/father /uncle xxx (1935-2010) who loved to sit here。

又注: 成語“勞燕分飛”來自古詩“東飛伯勞西飛燕，黃伯織女時相見”，喻情人分離不得相見。這里變其意而用之，小鳥鳴叫喚情人/親人回來。
