my volunteer days in sri lanka

Summary of my volunteer days in Sri Lanka

I can still remember the first day I got here, SriLanka, expecting and worrying. Now, 30 days past, all the feelings buried in myheart were grateful and delightful.

People I met here were all friendly and warm-hearted.The host family had warm atmosphere, they always helped us with so many chaos inthe daily life. The students from Morotuwa University in Aiesec were all helpfuland sweet-heard. The teachers in the nursery and child home were all thoughtfuland professional, children here were also lovely and clever, though sometimesthey were naughty. The local people I have met ,no matter who they are , thedriver , the hotel host , the shop assistant ,even the strangers , all of them showedthere shining smile to me , which made me feel like home . I liked to talk tothem, about the culture, the civilization and the life they are going through, thisis the best way for we to know better about them, about this country.

All the volunteers here were so wonderful to get alongwith ,we went to teach the children , dance with them , laugh with them ,singwith them ,we watched them drawing, writing, even crying , it’s the unforgettableexperience in my life. We traveled together, seeing the views, felling the air,and talking the stories, it’s always a fantastic feeling that you trust someonethe first time you met them, even they are from different country with you, andhave different character with you, the essential thing I learned is to admirethe habits of everyone and respect the culture of every country.

Hello Sri Lanka, Bye-bye Sri Lanka.
