啞巴英語是我們教學的一塊心病,今天Alisa的課程講了一些可以技巧供我們參考,但對于我們的超容量課堂,太不容易了。

To use different skills and measures to help the students to learn English

Give some Topic Cards and take turns to play a talking game


3 ?Accuracy and Fluency

A free talk in a group.

Accuracy focuses on gramma rules, conveying the words meaning, accurate prounaciation and the sentences' stuctures and patterns.

Fluency focues on speaking practice itself.

eg. usage of present perfect tense.

Promoting more fluence than accuracy.

結構型語言輸出強調精準性。如信息差(溝),拼讀活動等(詳解見網上查的圖文)。

交互型語言輸出強調流利性。如角色表演,提問,和討論等小組活動。

Tips: choose proper topic; build up the confidence; encorage ss to take part in; allow the ss to make mistakes; adjust to the activity timely and so on.

About hearing groups: ?research; talk about it; other ss ask question.

Mechanics 運作方式

Notes: 1. SS. Lack of confidence; shy/nevous; atmosphere(competitive); being judged; language level; not enough vocabulary; not interested in the topic; pronunciation; lack of experience/knowledge.

2. ? TS: instructions/being clear; examples/clarity; time; confidence; topic; knowledge; motivation; interest.

the problems of the ss and the ts are almost the same.



Information Gap: steps

1. To give clear instructions

2. To check the answers

3. To give praise to whichever group working out it at first.
