經常看美劇的話,會發現口語中gonna,gotta,wanna,kinda等出現地非常頻繁。

gonna

1. gonna
Gonna is used in written English to represent the words ‘going to’ when they are pronounced informally.
Gonna是going to的非正式發音的書寫形式,與be連用,be gonna即be going to,表示將要之意

例句:
Then, what am I gonna do?
那么,我該怎么辦呢?

第一集中包含gonna的臺詞:
(1) Ross: Y'know, here's the thing. Even if I could get it together enough to- to ask a woman out,... who am I gonna ask?
(2)** Monica:** Yeah... yeah, I think there is. -What were you gonna say?

gotta

2. gotta
Gotta is used in written English to represent the words ‘got to’ when they are pronounced informally, with the meaning “have to” or “must”.
必須,不得不(got to的非正式發音的書寫形式)

got to
You use have got to when you are saying that something is necessary or must happen in the way stated. In informal American English, the 'have' is sometimes omiited.
必須,不得不(美國英語的非正式語體中have有時可省略),SPOKEN口語

例句:
I'm not happy with the situation, but I've just got to accept it.
我對這一局面并不滿意,但又不得不接受
There has got to be a degree of flexibility.
得有一點靈活性才行

(1) Joey: Come on, you're going out with the guy! There's gotta be something wrong with him!

wanna

3. wanna
Wanna is used in written English to represent the words 'want to' when they are pronounced informally.
要,想 (want to的非正式發音書寫形式)

例句:
I wanna be married to you. Do you wanna be married to me?
我想和你結婚,你想和我結婚嗎?

第一集中包含wanna的臺詞:
(1)** Joey:** This guy says hello, I wanna kill myself.
(2) Ross: I don't want to be single, okay? I just... I just- I just wanna be married again!
(3)** Monica:** So you wanna tell us now, or are we waiting for four wet bridesmaids?

kinda

4. kinda
Kinda is used in written English to represent the words 'kind of' when they are pronounced informally.
kind of 的非正式發音書寫形式

kind of
You can use kind of when you want to say that something or someone can be roughly described in a particular way
稍微,有幾分,有點兒 SPOKEN口語

例句:
She wasn’t beautiful, but she was kind of cute.
她不漂亮,但她有點可愛
I'd kinda like to have a sheep farm in New Mexico.
我有點想在新墨西哥州開一個牧羊場
He looked kinda cool but kinda young.
他看上去有點酷但也有點嫩

第一集中包含kinda的臺詞:

(1)** Rachel:** So anyway I just didn't know where to go, and I know that you and I have kinda drifted apart, but you're the only person I knew who lived here in the city.
