學習筆記（四）之 Silicon Valley S04E04
看了這么久的Silicon Valley（硅谷），最大的感受是不只了解到了一些程序員需要了解的基礎知識，更是通過看此劇，明白了一些在商場、人際關系上的硬道理。
這是Silicon Valley系列的最后一次學習筆記，如果此劇沒有被砍，當然以后也會繼續下去。

但在這里scrape的意思理解為搜刮，搜集。
smashing(comparative more smashing, superlative most smashing)
1.Serving to smash (something).

2.(originally US, now Britain) Wonderful, very good or impressive.
eg：We had a smashing time at the zoo.
這里請注意一下smashing理解為第二個意思
insinuate(third-person singular simple present insinuates, present participle insinuating, simple past and past participle insinuated)
1.To hint; to suggest tacitly while avoiding a direct statement.
eg:She insinuated that her friends had betrayed her.
2.(rare) To creep, wind, or flow into; to enter gently, slowly, or imperceptibly, as into crevices.
3.(figuratively, by extension) To ingratiate; to obtain access to or introduce something by subtle, cunning or artful means.
insinuate v. 暗示，暗指〔令人不快的內容，尤指某人不誠實〕 | 〔假裝友善和誠實〕使逐漸取得〔某人的喜愛、信任等〕 | 使進入；伸入
這個單詞是以動詞形式存在的
saddle?
n.（馬）鞍 | 〔自行車、摩托車等的〕車座 | in the saddle 騎著馬 ; 在位，掌權
Verb:
saddle (third-person singular simple present saddles, present participle saddling, simple past and past participle saddled)
1.To put a saddle on an animal.
2.To get into a saddle.
3.(idiomatic) To burden or encumber.
4.(idiomatic) To give a responsibility to someone.
eg：He has been saddled with the task of collecting evidence to the theft.
以上是saddle原本的意思，但是可以看到，在這里就理解為作為動詞的第四個意思。
tardy adj. 遲的，晚了的 | 行動緩慢的；拖沓的
下次想表達傲嬌就知道怎么說了！翻譯真的很妙。
render是我之前就已經講過一次的詞匯，看來它真的算是美語中比較常用的詞匯呢，維基詞典上有它作為動詞的16個不同的意思。
render v. 使成為；使變得；使處于〔某種狀態〕 | 給予，提供 | 〔以某種方式〕表達；表現
transpire? v. it transpires that 現已清楚，現已泄露，被人所知 | [I] 【正式】發生 | [I,T] 【術語】〔植物〕蒸騰
但在這里transpire就被理解為匯報。
eureka? interjection. 我發現了〔因找到問題的解決方法或發現某物等而發出的歡呼〕
同樣地，在這里被理解為與原意不同的意思，并且是真正當作一個形容詞來使用的而不是原本的語氣感嘆詞。
