一部笑中有淚，苦澀和溫馨交織的電影，性格造就了巴尼各種出格行為，這些行為的后果又進一步把巴尼的性格夯實得更加又臭又硬。在這些各種劣跡包裹下又是一個異常真誠、頑固的靈魂。他的生活中錯過了很多，又收獲了很多。這如同每個普通人的真實人生寫照：自己所承受的都是自己所選擇的。

接近5分鐘的全曲在一種輕快的節奏中進行，但是憂郁的情緒卻一直縈繞在旋律中，而Cohen的平靜唱腔又注入了淡然。巴洛克古典式的懷舊感消解了輕快甚至輕佻的節奏，這是屬于一份睿智老人的情懷，也許他已經無法起舞，但是當小提琴燃燒著旋律時，恐懼在愛和時間的盡頭也已消失。

初看這部電影時就四個字：云山霧繞，基本認定這不是一部純正的漫畫英雄電影，更像一部文藝片，或者至少是一部反傳統、挽歌式的漫畫電影。猶記得看了某漫畫大神引經據典的解讀文，才有些不清不楚的了解，不過這部電影的整體色調依然是我非常喜歡的。

這也許是Cohen老爺子在中國最有知名度的一首歌吧，從低沉的開始再到情緒高亢的大合唱副歌，簡單而流暢，誠摯的情緒一路充盈在歌曲中。Cohen巧妙的引用了圣經故事中最能代表多面人性的大衛王、以及悲劇收場的英雄大力士參孫，宗教意味，寬恕的主題又和電影不謀而合。副歌中反復唱出的“Hallelujah”，一面是人的悲慟，一面又是神的寬恕，無論感受到哪一面都讓人無不動容。

關于Cohen的紀錄片有太多，而這部因參與者眾多而且份量十足，所以顯得特別有紀念意義。今年剛好是這部音樂片/紀錄片的十周年。到今天，U2依然不緊不慢的發行著新專輯；而Nick cave似乎越來越內斂同時保持旺盛的創造力，除了自己的專輯，還投身在電影原聲的創作中；Jarvis Cocker不再是那個pulp樂團外露、風頭十足的主唱，而有向著探索實驗音樂的可能。而這些獨當一面的音樂人當時確都是懷著一顆雀躍的心向Cohen老爺子致敬。到今天，這部音樂紀錄片如果再重現，那是怎么也免不了哀傷的情緒了。

選自Leonard Cohen 1988年專輯【I'm Your Man】與U2合作重新編曲、錄音。
對比1988年的原版，U2編曲版的層次更加豐富，加入的打擊樂豐富了更多的低音和節奏感，鋼琴的爵士化處理增添了華麗的感覺。而Cohen的沉郁嗓音如故，只是比原版的黑色幽默和悲傷之余，更多了幾分從容不迫，而曲中U2的人聲如同連接了兩個時代，將屬于Cohen的優雅、厚重以一種飄逸的風格來繼承。
另外單獨提一句，這首曲子在Cohen2014年的現場專輯【Live in dublin】中的演繹更是一絕，蒼老的人聲有一種無視時間的自得其樂和韌性。

Mel Gibson親自擔綱編、導、演于一身的【耶穌受難記】于2004年上映，引起的巨大爭議到現在都還記憶猶新，關于運用如此寫實殘酷的畫面來講述耶穌的故事是否合適，個人覺得是一個見仁見智的問題。如果是一個神學研究人員或者狂熱的神學愛好者，或者喜歡嘗試不同觀影體驗的電影迷，那這部電影是值得一看的。個人甚至覺得這部電影比【勇敢的心】更震撼，在技巧上也更優秀。

這部電影的原聲歌曲選曲的又是非常有品味，特別是選擇Cohen的這首By The Rivers Dark，以及Bob Dylan的Not Dark Yet，相互呼應，又與電影的情節形成默契。
而這首曲子出自Cohen離開唱片業達9年之久后的復出第一張專輯，9年隱士般的平靜生活，也許這張專輯的歌曲都是來自3000多個日夜、無數個瞬間的頓悟，深邃的歌詞配上優雅而內斂優美的旋律，除了招牌式的吉他，加入更加豐滿的配器以后，一張更有時代感而又保持了Cohen自身音樂魅力的曲子就一首首這樣誕生了。

2003年【再見列寧】上映引發如潮好評后，男主Daniel Brühl攜帶著新作品【替天行道三人行】在2年后重新登場。這部電影也選擇了Leonard Cohen的歌曲作為電影插曲，同這首歌閃耀的理想主義色彩一樣，這部電影比【再見列寧】相同的是戲謔，但多了更多的理想主義色彩，以及更青春的無政府主義色彩。如果說【再見列寧】是嘲諷一種集權的話，那【替天行道三人行】就是向另一種同樣讓人無法獲得安全感的意識形態進行調戲。如果喜歡一些別樣的青春片，那這部部冷場，又犀利的電影肯定不應該被錯過。

這又是一首選自Cohen33歲發行的首張專輯的歌曲，清脆的吉他以外，加入的手搖鈴、小型打擊樂、悠揚的笛子、活潑的風琴，無不在還原一個當時不乏陽光氣息而純真的Cohen,而這樣的青春氣息出現在一部描寫新時代青年故事的電影中，毫無違和，只因這首歌中的懷舊意象，如同那些尋求出路的青年的勇氣一樣—— 不合時宜，但卻能打動你的心。

2000年上映的【奇跡小子】的臺前幕后陣容都顯得有噱頭，原著出自普利策小說獎得主Michael Chabon，導演是剛拍完那部經典警匪片【洛城機密】的Curtis Hanson，演員方面，Michael Douglas自不用說，還有后面成為拯救世界的英雄的蜘蛛俠和鋼鐵俠，三個男人戲份有輕重，但是都貼有wonder的標簽，只是他們都遇上了麻煩，而電影就圍繞著這些麻煩造成的沖突，講了一個詼諧又不失溫暖的故事。

這又是一張值得收藏的電影原聲歌曲專輯，可以說這張原聲專輯的陣容就是一部封神榜，除了Leonard Cohen以外，還包括John Lennon、Bob Dylan、Neil Young、Van Morrison等。而且這張原聲中Bob Dylan的Things Have Changed 還獲得了73屆奧斯卡的最佳原創歌曲大獎。不過Cohen的曲子卻依然有他獨到的魅力。
Waiting for the Miracle 不是第一次出現在電影中，在這部2000年的【奇跡小子】之前，還出現在了Oliver Stone的【天生殺人狂】之中，不過在和不同電影故事，以及不同電影風格的混合后，被賦予了不同的解讀，或者產生了不同的效果。在這里的Waiting for the Miracle，旋律中深深的頹唐和無力，正是男主的寫照，不斷起伏的貝斯如同生活中的暗潮來襲，而清脆美麗的吉他solo也一直貫穿整個旋律，加上偶爾浮現的輕快口哨聲，似乎又在預示男主最終會等待生活的奇跡到來。有時候真不知道是歌曲成全了電影，還是電影又解讀了音樂的另一層狀態。
到此，2000年以來的影視作品中出現過的，我有印象的Cohen單曲回顧就算完結了，第Ⅲ篇就是回顧一些90年代影視中的Cohen歌曲了，希望自己的記憶還能靠得住。
