crocodile, alligator有什么區(qū)別？

alligator指的是短吻鱷，主要生活在美國東南部以及中國，嘴巴比crocodile寬一些，短一些。參見劍橋字典的解釋：

a large reptile with a hard skin that lives in and near rivers and lakes in hot, wet parts of the world. It is like an alligator, but it usually has a longer and narrower nose
