AlphaGo

Lately, AlphaGo must be the hottest word online and also in reality because of a live competition between mankind and it to find out whether artificial intelligence can preveil human beings in Go.

AlphaGo, developed by Google's DeepMind in London, England, is a program with artificial intelligence able to play go as well as human beings does.

The confrontation, held in Korea, has started three times since March 9th, both ending up in artificial intelligence' s absolute victory, which astonished and frustrated audiences focusing on it greatly. It is the first time that man-made machine has defeated mankind totally in Go, which has been seen as the most strategic game in history and also in the world.

After the first defeat, people watching the competion throughout were collectively refused to despair for fear of artficial intelligence's domination over human beings some day in future due to Go's absolute authority representive of human intelligence.

Then, the following two defeats forced people to accept the truth that artificial intelligence has improved siginificantly than before and advanced a huge historic step forward.?

Now, the confrontation between mankind and machine is going on, tense and unpredictable; on the contry, no longer is people talking of who will win but forcasting how far artificial intelligence would reach finally, in other words, on a basis of its thorough domination over mankind in future.

Li Zaishi, a Korean and has been known as the top three all over the world in Go, has been chosen as player to compete with the program. Even though he has had three defeats, people still regard him as a great player in the history of Go by highly speaking of his brilliant skill and performance.
