? Chpater 3 unravels the reason why people in modern society, especially millennials, have the feeling of insecure, anxious and self-aggrandizing. Though it is only a point by the author, I think it’s a tad reasonable.

? 讀這章尤其是后半段時(shí)，我的代入感變得非常強(qiáng)。雖然文章論點(diǎn)只是作者的一家之言，但我覺(jué)得這種分析確實(shí)有其道理。現(xiàn)代社會(huì)，尤其是互聯(lián)網(wǎng)飛速發(fā)展的今天，我們的身邊充斥著大量有用無(wú)用的信息。一些雞湯雞血類(lèi)內(nèi)容對(duì)我們的引導(dǎo)，比如要有一個(gè)美好的形體；一些年紀(jì)輕輕就站在公眾面前或者聚光燈下的celebrities，讓我們汲汲于“出名要趁早”…我也不例外。有這樣的想法，也經(jīng)常有那些“焦慮感、不安感、緊迫感”的困擾。

? “中槍”以后我陷入恐慌。難道進(jìn)取和自律是不對(duì)的嗎？難道我應(yīng)該接受我自己目前的樣子，安于現(xiàn)狀嗎？我不愿意這么做，但同時(shí)對(duì)他的觀點(diǎn)又無(wú)法反駁。直到后來(lái)看到他說(shuō)的“it’s the realization-that you and your problems are actually not privileged in their severity or pain”，“people who become great at something because they understand that they are not already great-they are mediocre, they are average-and that they could be so much better.”才放下心來(lái)，覺(jué)得自己也找到了迷途的出路。作者并不是讓我們不思進(jìn)取，而是在追求進(jìn)取的過(guò)程中，調(diào)整心態(tài)，不要把上進(jìn)心變成影響心情和降低效率的阻礙。

? 誠(chéng)然，一些壞情緒對(duì)人的狀態(tài)影響真的蠻大的。比如說(shuō)我這兩天看書(shū)進(jìn)度很慢，就有點(diǎn)恐慌。但是恐慌只會(huì)讓你看書(shū)時(shí)更難集中注意力。更好的做法是：塌下心來(lái)，分析讀書(shū)速度變慢的原因，再去針對(duì)性的解決它。
