詞根prob: Comes from the Latin words for "prove or proof" and "honesty or integrity" 該詞根來(lái)自拉丁語(yǔ)，意為“證據(jù)，證明”或者“正直，誠(chéng)實(shí)”

1. probe: n. a slender ?instrument used especially for exploration :探頭，探測(cè)器（都是為了尋找證據(jù)）

vt: a tentative exploratory advance or survey :探索，調(diào)查（也是為了尋找證據(jù)）

2. prove: vt: establish the validity of something, as by an example, explanation or experiment: 證明，證實(shí)。

3. provable: capable of being demonstrated or proved: 可證明的，可證實(shí)的。
