詞根prob: Comes from the Latin words for "prove or proof" and "honesty or integrity" 該詞根來(lái)自拉丁語(yǔ),意為“證據(jù),證明”或者“正直,誠(chéng)實(shí)”
1. probe: n. a slender ?instrument used especially for exploration :探頭,探測(cè)器(都是為了尋找證據(jù))
vt: a tentative exploratory advance or survey :探索,調(diào)查(也是為了尋找證據(jù))
