-> 當一件事持續進行，一件事出現把它打斷。 這時持續進行的用進行時，打斷的用現在時。 根據事態或者動詞判斷是現在還是過去。
Tony worked in a lawyer's office years ago.
-> years ago 很多年前， -> 表示過去， 有沒有正在進行 所以用一般過去時。
but he is now working at a bank.
-> now 強調現在，所以用現在進行時
He gets a good salary, but he aways borrows money from his friends and never pays it back.
-> aways、never 表示頻度，一般跟一般現在時搭配。
Tony saw me and came and sat at the same table.
He has never borrowed money for me.
-> 從現在到過去，都沒有問我借過錢。 ?現在完成時。
->（He never borrowed money for me. 表達的是過去沒有問我接過錢。 ?-> 一般過去時）
While he was eating,I asked him to lend me twenty pounds .

1. L2 一般現在時（do/does） VS 現在進行時(be + doing)
-> 異同點： 兩種時態都表示的是現在的事， 但是現在進行時強調正在進行，而一般現在時表示經常性，習慣性 發生的。
L3 一般過去時 (did)
L4 , L5 現在完成時 (have/has + done) ?-> 現在的之前
L7 過去進行時 (was / were + doing) -> 過去的某一個時間點正在進行的事。
