I would advise my friend to ask help from her professors and the internet. Firstly, the professors are experts and they will have more experience in teaching and studying. They may know the foundantal problem of my friend. So their advise would be valuable and viable. Secondly, on the internet, there would be a lot of people who have the same puzzle with my friend's. Some of them would have succeful solutions and they are willing to share. So I think it would be a good way.
