About Living Funeral

在 Morrie 生病之后，他去參加了他的朋友 Irv 的葬禮。在葬禮上至親好友們講了很多關于 Irv 的美好的事情。Morrie 覺得很惋惜，因為這些善意的言語這些情誼 Irv 都聽不到了。Morrie 決定給自己舉行一個 Living Funeral。

“What a waste,” he said. “All those people saying all those wonderful things, and Irv (Morrie’s friend) never got to hear any of it.” Morrie had a better idea. He made some calls. He chose a date. And on a cold Sunday afternoon, he was joined in his home by a small group of friends and family for a “living funeral.” Each of them spoke and paid tribute to my old professor.
