今天賞析的繪本是《Olivia》
作者介紹：
Ian Woodward Falconer (born August 25, 1959) is an American illustrator, children's book author, and costume and set designer for the theater.? Falconer is best known for the Olivia series, which features a young pig and her many adventures, which was inspired by the birth of his first niece and his desire to give her a special "first" present.

繪本介紹：
This is Olivia. She is good at lots of things.She is very good at wearing people out.She even wears herself out.
她擅長于把人累暈，有時連她自己都累暈了。
Olivia has a little brother named Ian. He's always copying.
奧利薇有個弟弟叫伊恩。他總愛模仿別人。
Sometimes Ian just won't leave her alone, so Olivia has to be firm.
伊恩有時就是不愿給她一刻的空歇，這時奧利薇就會裝作一副很嚴苛的樣子。
Olivia lives with her mother, her father, her brother, her dog, Perry, and Edwin, the cat.
In the morning, after she gets up, and moves the cat,
早上起床后，她先抱她的小貓離開房間。
and brushes her teeth,and combs her ears,and moves the cat,
刷好牙、理一理她的耳朵，然后把小貓抱出洗手間。
Olivia gets dressed. She has to try on everything.
奧利薇開始打扮了。她把每件衣服都試了一遍。
On sunny days, Olivia likes to go to the beach.
天氣晴朗的時候，奧利薇喜歡去海邊。
She feels it's important to come prepared.當然之前她要準備好一切。
Last summer when Olivia was little, her mother showed her how to make sand castles.
去年夏天的時候，那是奧利薇還小，她的媽媽教她雕沙堡。
She got pretty good.
Sometimes Olivia likes to bask in the sun.奧利薇有時喜歡曬曬太陽。
When her mother sees that she's had enough, they go home.
當她媽媽覺得她曬的夠多了時他們就回家。
Every day Olivia is supposed to take a nap.
每天奧利薇都被要求睡午覺。
"It's time for your you-know-what," her mother says.
“你知道現在該干嘛了吧。”她媽媽說。
Of course Olivia's not at all sleepy.
當然奧利薇沒有一絲倦意。
On rainy days, Olivia likes to go to the museum.
下雨天的時候奧利薇喜歡去博物館。
She heads straight for her favorite picture.
她會一直看著她最喜歡的那幅畫。
Olivia looks at it for a long time. What could she be thinking?
奧利薇盯著它看了很久。她在想什么呢？
But there is one painting Olivia just doesn't get.
但那兒有一副畫奧利薇一直沒能理解。
"I could do that in about five minutes," she says to her mother.
我五分鐘內就能畫出一幅這樣的畫。
As soon as she gets home she gives it a try.
回家后她就這樣做了。
Time out.時間到。
After a nice bath, and a nice dinner, it's time for bed.
舒舒服服的洗完澡后她美美的吃了一餐，然后睡覺。
But of course Olivia's not at all sleepy.
但是奧利薇當然還不想睡。
"Only five books tonight, Mommy," she says.
媽媽，今晚就只讀五本書。
"No, Olivia, just one."
“不行奧利薇，只能讀一本。”
"How about four?"
"Two."
"Three."
"Oh, all right, three. But that's it!"
“好吧，那就3本。但只有這些。”
When they've finished reading, Olivia's mother gives her a kiss and says, "You know, you really wear me out. But I love you anyway."
當故事都講完的時候，奧利薇的媽媽親了親她說“你知道嗎，你真是讓我累暈了，但我還是很愛你。”
And Olivia gives her a kiss back and says,
奧利薇也親了親媽媽說,
"I love you anyway too."
我也很愛你。
Olivia 系列是Ian Falconer寫給當時剛出生的侄女的，所以繪本推薦年齡是3-6歲的小朋友，但也很適合爸爸媽媽們看，特別能引起家有女兒的寶媽們的共鳴。這只古靈精怪的小豬：她愛唱歌，愛打扮，穿媽媽的高跟鞋，偷偷抹媽媽的口紅，愛玩沙子，不睡午覺，會模仿，在家里的墻上畫畫……讓你累癱，而她還是精力十足！看著她，你不知覺的就會被吸引，嘴角上揚，腦海翻騰，這不就是你家娃嘛！孩子成長的過程中雖有你難以把控，千萬分無奈的時刻，但是累并快樂著。所有的父母向旁人傾訴孩子怎樣怎樣不乖時，眼神里總是伴有笑容，對孩子的這份愛是永久的，無條件的！看著最后一個畫面：母親摟著Olivia，親親她，說“I love you anyway!”Olivia親親母親“I love you anyway too!”你的心暖暖的吧！
