- Practicable never describes people, while practical is used of both people and things.

- Not everything that's practical is practicable. For instance, although it might be very practical to be able to change a flat tire, you might not have the time or opportunity to learn how. ?So a plan to learn tire-changing skills wouldn't be practicable for you.
