Use Aspen APC Manage to manage online Aspen DMCplus applications
Aspen APC Manage is the utility program installed on the online applications server for managing Aspen DMCplus and other online applications. Use it to load, start, or stop applications, set the auto-start flag, and so forth.

Web-based interface for managing online Aspen DMCplus applications
Aspen Production Control Web Server also provides a web-based version of Aspen APC Manage.
To access the web-based interface, click the Online tab within Aspen Production Control Web Server. Then click the menu option for the Manage view. (See Note, next.) For more information, see the Aspen Production Control Web Server WebHelp.
Note: In Aspen Production Control Web Server, access to the Manage view requires specific user role permissions.

Starting or stopping DMCplus Online while running other online applications
Use Aspen APC Manage to start or stop Aspen DMCplus online applications, without stopping and restarting other online applications such as Aspen Inferential Qualities (Aspen IQ) or Aspen Nonlinear Controller (Aspen Apollo).
To stop DMCplus Controller (Online):
1.Access the Aspen APC Manage program:
?From the Windows? Start menu, clickPrograms | AspenTech | Aspen Manufacturing Suite | APC Online | APCmanage.
The Aspen APC Manage program starts.
2.In Aspen APC Manage, do either of the following:
?From the main menu of Aspen APC Manage, click Tools | Shutdown DMCplus.
-or-
?In Aspen APC Manage, select the** DMCplus Controllers** tab. In the** DMCplus Controllers tab, select all applications that are operating online, and then click the Stop **button.
As a result, this stops:
?Any running DMCplus controllers
Note: To also stop the Aspen DMCplus Context Cim-IO Server, the DMCplus View Server, and DMCplus Composite (if installed), use the **Tools **| **ShutDown Advanced Control menu command. See Starting or stopping all ACO Online products.
To start DMCplus Controller (Online)— for example, after a DMCplus shutdown:
1.Access the Aspen APC Manage program:
?From the **Windows? Start menu, click Programs | AspenTech **| Aspen Manufacturing Suite | APC Online | APC manage.
The Aspen APC Manage program starts.
2.In Aspen APC Manage, do either of the following:
?From the main menu of Aspen APC Manage, click** Tools** | Startup DMCplus.
-or-
?In Aspen APC Manage, select the DMCplus Controllers tab. In the **DMCplus Controllers **tab, select all applications that are operating online, and then click the Start button.
As a result, this starts:
?Any DMCplus controllers marked for autostart
Note: To also start the Aspen DMCplus Context Cim-IO Server, the DMCplus View Server, and DMCplus Composite (if installed), use the Tools |** Startup Advanced Control **menu command. See Starting or stopping all ACO Online products.
